Tina Watkins, CMP, Founder and President

Tina Watkins has over 17 years of experience planning successful association and corporate meetings, conventions, board meetings and prestigious events for 20 to 2,500 attendees at domestic and international destinations. She is passionate about performance, quality, innovation, and helping clients achieve their goals. Her strengths are business analysis, project and financial management, fostering collaborative relationships, mitigating risk, reducing costs, and providing customer service beyond expectations.

For over 10 years, Tina served as the Director of meeting management for Cambium Learning Group. She directed a $3 million dollar budget and a team of six meeting planners and registrars who produced over 40 meetings annually. These included 15 annual multiday Summer Institutes located across the United States and 20 conferences in Germany and Japan to fulfill a contract with the Department of Defense Education Divison.

Cambium recruited Tina from an association management company based in Colorado where she produced annual meetings and trade shows, ranging between 800 to 2,500 attendees and 20 to 150 exhibitors, for the Association for Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback, the North American Nature Photography Association, and the Society for Scholarly Publishing.

Tina earned her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification in 2007 and holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from Regis University, Denver, CO.
